Lucky Dough Pizza has been recognized by 50 Top Pizza, one of the world’s most respected and internationally recognized pizza guides.
Known by many as the “Michelin Guide of Pizza,” 50 Top Pizza evaluates pizzerias across the globe through anonymous inspections focused on dough quality, ingredients, service, hospitality, and overall experience.
Lucky Dough Pizza has been invited to attend the official 50 Top Pizza USA 2026 awards ceremony in New York City this May, where the final rankings and recognitions will be publicly announced.
From Farmers Market Beginnings to National Recognition
Founded by self-taught pizzaiolo Arpan Patel, Lucky Dough Pizza began as a small setup at Pensacola’s Palafox Market before growing into a destination for naturally leavened, wood-fired Pizza Napoletana.
Unlike many nationally recognized pizzerias operating in highly controlled environments, Lucky Dough prepares and bakes pizza outdoors in the challenging Florida climate using traditional wood-fired brick ovens imported from Italy.
The recognition highlights both the craftsmanship behind the pizza and the growing culinary culture of Pensacola, Florida.
